Job Title: Coordinator, Blue Island Education Center

Work Location: Education Center at Blue Island
Duties: Under the administrative direction of the Director of Academic Outreach, the Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operations of the center and other course locations. The Coordinator is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of 3 years supervisory experience; experience in an educational setting preferred. Bilingual in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: The Coordinator will provide leadership through strategic planning for the identification, development and evaluation of the site and other course locations; develops and implements the marketing plan including websites and Community Outreach plan supervises and evaluates staff; assists the Director in planning the courses scheduled; assists with the selection and supervision of adjunct faculty; develops and monitors the budget for the site; ability to work in a team environment; must have excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrates attention to detail and initiative; plus other duties as assigned.
Position Status: Full Time
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:15 pm
Minimum Starting Rate: $56,870.00
